The active

How clascoterone works

Clascoterone blocks the androgen receptor in the tissue you apply it to, competing with DHT locally. It is built to break down quickly once it reaches the bloodstream, which is why it has been studied on the skin rather than as a tablet.

The same molecule is authorised in some markets at 1% for acne. Higher strengths have been trialled on the scalp, and that work is not finished. We will not tell you what it will do for you.

Quality & testing

Every batch is tested before release

Identity, assay and appearance are confirmed for each production batch, and the certificate of analysis travels with the unit rather than sitting behind a support ticket.

If a batch does not meet specification, it does not ship. That is the whole policy.

Questions

Questions people ask first

No. Clascoterone is authorised in some markets only as a 1% cream for acne vulgaris. The 7.5% topical formulation on this site is not an authorised medicine in any market and is not approved for hair loss or any other indication.

No. This is a demand assessment. Reserving a place records your interest and your preferred concentration and cadence. No payment details are collected and nothing is charged.

Higher concentrations of topical clascoterone have been investigated in scalp research, which is where 7.5% comes from. That research is unfinished, and a higher concentration is not evidence of a better outcome. We supply the concentration as stated and point you to the literature.

We intend to ship worldwide, subject to the import rules of the destination country. Some countries restrict or prohibit the import of preparations containing active pharmaceutical ingredients, and it is the buyer’s responsibility to know their own rules.
